Why did you join SeenThis?
Actually, my plan was to continue as a consultant/freelancer, but I agreed to meet Jesper (SeenThis CEO) for a coffee and it didn’t take long until I was convinced otherwise. I met good people. SeenThis had a nice tech stack (it was the opposite of "legacy" code) and I felt they focused on the right stuff. I haven't regretted my decision since.
So, what is it really like working at SeenThis?
We have an open culture on the tech team, and we like to discover new ways of working, not just doing the same old, same old. I also appreciate the collaboration between departments. We have mutual respect for each other and a common goal: to develop the product and make something great together.
I’ve worked in startups/scale-up companies before, but at SeenThis, I really feel that I can combine my family life and work life. We are a scale-up company with high ambitions, but there still is huge respect for work-life balance.

Tell us about your role on the platform team.
I came in as a coder, and it feels like I have a finger in every pie. Jokes aside, I work with our ads product, core tech, and our conversion optimization.
I've always been interested in compressing videos, and what makes it even more fun is that you can measure your progress with data. It's every problem solver's dream to see clear improvements and solve complex problems.
How would you describe the culture on the tech team?
The people on our team are diverse in their knowledge and experience, and I really feel that we complement each other. We have an inclusive culture and new team members usually feel right at home in no time.
